On July 2023, Dr. Pochaman Tagnheen, Deputy Director General, Department of Science Service  presided an opening of training workshop. On this occasion, Dr. Pochaman Tagnheen also delivered the training course “Requirement ISO/IEC 17043: 2023” through the virtual platform BLA staff, assessor, Technical Sub Committees,  Laboratory Accreditation Committee and proficiency testing providers.  Between 26^th to 27^thJuly 2023, the training workshop were also conducted by Mrs. Chantarat  Vorasapavitt, Acting Director of Bureau of Laboratory Accreditation, Mrs. Yaowarak Chinchusak, Center for Laboratory Proficiency Testing as well as two senior professional level officers, including  Ms. Tippawan Ningnoy and Mrs. Wanna Pangrungrojjanachai.

        Since an edition of ISO/IEC 17043 which was published by May 8, 2023, Bureau of Laboratory Accreditation, Department of Service Science (BLA-DSS), the only one accreditation body of the country, arranged the workshop encompassing a course of the requirement ISO/IEC 17043:2023. This workshop delivered needed information, opinion and professional knowledge to update the changes made in the edited version of ISO/IEC 17043. In fact, BLA-DSS committed to fulfil mission and responsibilities, with intent to deliver support and operate accreditation related with proficiency testing provider according to requirement of the ISO/IEC 17043.
