On 17-19 August 2020, Bureau of Laboratory Accreditation and Bureau of Laboratory Personnel Development Department of Science Service Co-hosted a workshop on "Assessor Training Course for Proficiency Testing Providers Accreditation" at Room 320, 3rd Floor, Institute of Analytical Chemistry Training Building, Department of Science Service.
                          The aims and objectives of this course is to impart initial training requirements to enable trainee assessors, to acquire the necessary knowledge and skills to carry out assessments for Proficiency Testing Providers (PTP). This program is offered the understanding of both management and technical assessment, including statistical assessment techniques in accordance with ISO / IEC 17043 and ISO 13528, generally follows the guidelines given in APAC: Guidelines on Training Course for Assessors (APAC CBC-002). Participants in this workshop are experts in laboratory testing, both medical testing and calibration testing.
                          It is considered to increase the potential of accreditation and support the expansion of the scope of accreditation to cover the needs of the country. Especially in the medical field including the development of the National Quality Infrastructure (NQI).
